On Friday, March 27, 7- 9 p.m., SCAD-Atlanta will host an opening night reception for the exhibition “heredity” at Studioplex in the Old Fourth Ward, 659 Auburn Avenue, Suite 143. According to the exhibition’s curator, “heredity is the passing of traits to offspring from its parents or ancestors. This is the process by which an offspring cell or organism acquires or becomes predisposed to the characteristics of its parent cell or organism. Through heredity, variations exhibited by individuals can accumulate and cause a species to evolve.”
The exhibit, which will remain open through April 4, includes works by:

Gillian Zagorski

Marcia Dietz
