For her first solo exhibition in Atlanta, New York–based artist Kyung Jeon presents “Mischief and Melancholy,” a series of works exploring the themes of love and loss, at SCAD-Atlanta’s Trois Gallery. According to college press materials, “Jeon’s paintings depict the dual aspects of love where feverish titillation, mischief and melancholy coexist. These childlike characters embody the mature voyage one takes in traversing the high and low points of love.”
The exhibition is on display Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., through Sept. 28. A gallery talk will be held Thursday, Sept. 24, at 5 p.m., followed by a reception from 6–8 p.m.
