Historic exhibition of North Korean paintings

The Granite Room in Castleberry Hill will feature an exhibition of 12 North Korean paintings from a private collection starting Friday, July 17 till Saturday, Aug. 1. There will also be a silent auction on Friday, July 24, 6-11p.m. According to the Web site, the proceeds from the auction will be used to further develop relationships with the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) through the arts, and to support an established program that provides soy milk for orphans in North Korea.
