Time management is also something very important to students who manage to keep a dating life alive in school. Balancing a growing relationship with school work at SCAD can be tough. That said, a good relationship is something great and fulfilling and can actually help one focus more on what s/he enjoys in life. I’d say it is definitely worth the extra effort.

What I have found throughout my 3.5 years at SCAD is that if you date someone that is off campus, you get a lot more time to spend with them. SCAD students have a lot of work for classes and it is hard to find time to date as a single student. When you put two SCAD students together, the amount of class work and homework doubles making it hard to find time to go to the movies or out to dinner. Though it is nice to find someone with the same interests as you, dating a fellow SCAD student is hard because of the amount of work each student had to get done as well as the stress both individules are encountering durring their career. Ergo, date someone that has already graduated from SCAD…. common interests… less stress… more time to do things… easier to fall in love.

Although this article is pretty irrelevant to the reality of the situation, you actually managed to get me to read the whole thing for once_Irrelevancy not always a bad thing though, its good for brain stimulation….My comment is irrelevant

This was so interesting! And very true. I really recognize that meeting my boyfriend here at SCAD has been very special. I love him a lot, and it’s great to be with someone with similar interests at an art school.
