Letters to the Editor

Dear Editor:
I appreciate that you have the “Commissions” section in The Connector. I sent my artwork to the Timeline Competition that I found in your paper and got an honorable mention.

I think that color-printing facilities should be provided here at SCAD-Atlanta at reasonable prices. It seems as if this should be one of the most obvious facilities that should be provided at an art school. Here at SCAD-Atlanta, the printing facilities are not up to standard for a school of our caliber. These are extras that would make our experience here much easier.

I would like to see a table of contents on the first or second page.
Eric Mason | Graduate, Photography
You should try distributing the paper outside the SCAD community because The Connector can represent the college on a broader level.

Dean responds to health care concerns

Dear Editor:
I’m writing in response to a previous issue [April 18] of The Connector when teachers were nominated for awards. I really liked this concept and I thought it was a really good idea. However, I think that the student body should be more involved and get a chance to vote.

Professor suggests “Walk-Off”
April 28, 2008
Dear Editor:
I am writing in response to your staff’s selection of Chung Hung as Most Elegantly Dressed. I believe that I should have won that coveted title. I would like a “Walk-Off” with Mr. Hung to see who really can bring it, fashion-wise, on the runway. Thank you.
Sarah Collins | Fashion professor
P.S. Shawn Crystal truly does have “Epic Hair.”
