3:02 p.m. — The fire alarm was activated for the main campus. The buildings were evacuated. Alarm was determined to be caused by a popcorn machine being set up for an event in the 4C Events space. The steam from the machine set off a smoke detector. Alarms were reset and everyone was allowed back in.

7:09 p.m. — There was a report of smoke on the sixth floor of the ACA Residence Hall. The RA noted the smoke coming from a pot that was left on the stove in a dorm room. In an attempt to air out the room they opened some windows. The air blew the smoke into the hall and set off a hallway smoke detector. The building was evacuated. Alarms were reset and everyone came back in.
