It’s a tale as old as time, true as it can be — good things come to those in school. Case in point: courtesy of Broadway in Atlanta, local college students can attend “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” for a special student rush ticket price of only $25. The magical musical — based on the classic fairy tale turned beloved Disney film, then Broadway juggernaut — plays at The Fox Theatre Feb. 2-7.

Interested in “a night of romantic hilarity”? All you need to do is bring your valid college student ID to the Fox’s box office two hours prior to the scheduled performance that you’d like to attend. The discounted student rush ticket price is available for all performances, though there is a two-ticket limit per student ID. Student rush tickets can apply to any of the theatre’s open seats, availability permitting.

“Disney’s Beauty and the Beast” is the story of Belle (Brooke Quintana), a beautiful young woman, and the Beast (Sam Hartley), a young prince who has been cursed by an enchantress and transformed into a monster. The Beast must learn to love and be loved in order to break the curse and become his former self again. But time is running out, and if the Beast doesn’t learn his lesson, he will be doomed to eternal loneliness.
