In college, you’ll find that plans to hang-out are usually made on a whim. With only enough time to throw on a quick change of clothes before heading out the door, your morning makeup may have to last you all night, minus a few touch-ups. If you are looking for classic looks that will translate from day to night, then check out these examples of fall makeup trends that will take you from your class to the party.

  1. Dark berry lips. They are a staple for edgy girls like Lorde who performs in the signature shade.

  2. Smoky eyes. This trendy eye makeup look can be done with literally any shade imaginable, as long as you can blend, usually from a lighter shade of eyeshadow to a darker shade such as this one.
  3. Classic cat eyes. This classic eye makeup is one of the hardest to master, in my opinion. To get the perfect “flick of the wrist” for each side is downright impossible without practice, perseverance and skill, 3 things I have yet to master with this look.

  4. Oxblood lip. This trend is for the ladies who like a dark vampy lip but want to switch it up from berry-purple to a rich red color.

  5. Rosy winter-flushed cheeks. Rosy cheeks give your skin some much needed color as the fall weather seems to whip it away.
