When talking about the fashion industry female fashion and supermodels come to mind. I’m here to tell you that there is hope for guys to be fashionable too. There are countless resources on the web that offer inspiration for men’s fashion. The only disclaimer I have is that not all guys have the same style.

I like to keep up to date with trends, not necessarily to replicate them, but to see if my predictions were close or not. The main rule about fashion is don’t follow trends; make them. A good site to keep up-to-date is Style.com. They have listings of designers and seasons by year, as well as street style shots of each show. They also archive their work so it’s easy to get some good ideas from the past seasons.

If you are looking for a more editorial look for inspiration, a good source of archives is F***ing Young. Although the title may be offensive to some, the fashion choices are not. They have all the campaigns and magazine editorials for men’s fashion.

Other places you can check out for more minimalistic or sartorial style is Nylon Guys and Lookbook.nu.

The key thing to remember about fashion is that it is experimental. You have to try whatever appeals to you to find your personal style. I hope these suggestions help you discover specific references so you don’t feel overwhelmed.

Style on!
