Elisa Freitas is a third-year fashion design major who is a member of SCAD Atlanta’s tennis team.

Freitas is originally from Brazil. She first became interested in SCAD Atlanta because her sister went to high school in Florida and brought back a brochure about SCAD. This sparked Freitas’s interest in SCAD and the rest is history. She would like to design either sports wear or daywear, which is a great combination of her interests in fashion and sports.

To Freitas, the hardest part about balancing being a student and an athlete is time management. She says, “You have to balance out time for work, school, and time with friends—and sleep!”

After SCAD, she sees herself going to grad school in Europe, particularly in London or Milan.
